July is Over!!!!

HI Everyone,
We have been busy as usual!!!

Eric also turned 9 this weekend. I can't believe how fast time goes. He of course is spoiled rotten!! He got the Nintendo Wii. And to be completely honest, it is great. Eric and I were almost late for football practice yesterday because we were playing ping pong and air hockey. John is all over the place and has teeth popping up like crazy.

Football Season has started. Eric had his first practice yesterday. He looks good!! He says he wants the starting quaterback position. That is too much drama for me.
Matt starts up football again next Wednesday. This week he is attending his new teacher meeting for Homewood-Flossmoor.

The summer is almost over, but Fall is my favorite time of year and I am really looking forward to it. As much as I complain, I love football season. I can't wait to see Eric play this year. He has made some great friends and so have we, so the games and practices will be fun. I am also thrilled for Matt. He has moved into a whole new level of teaching and football. I am the most proud of Matt when I see him coaching.

John is crawling all over the place and fast!! He crawled under the table, ate a Cheerio from earlier, took off all the seat cushions and played with the screws. He had a great time.

Curly Hair

New Toy

John got a new toy!! This was sent special to him all the way from Carbondale!!! He has played with it non stop and is even walking behind it with help. He also opens the seat and puts toys in and takes toys out.

Chicago Bear Youth Football Camp

Eric attended Chicago Bears Youth Football Camp this year in Burr Ridge. He loved it and had a great time. This is him getting his award for great enthusiam and knowledge of the game.

Monday, July 23rd

Good Morning, Good Morning!!
Eric went to his first Cubs game on Saturday with friends. He had an awesome time and enjoyed Wrigley Field. He also picked up his football equipment for the upcoming year. I cant believe it is here already.
John had a great weekend, he is crawling FAST and is walking along the furniture. He plays with the door stop and closes the front door and he climbed the stairs with Daddy's help, so all the gates are up now. He is also clapping all the time. So we all say "Yeah John!!!"

Eric starts Chicago Bears Camp this week, Matt and John are going to spend the day watching him and then have lunch with Papa.

This Weekend

John and I are flying solo this weekend!! Matt and Eric are with Homewood-Flossmoor at Concordia River Forest for a football clinic. They are staying in the dorms and will practice on the field. John and I have big plans with Nana, Aunt Chris and Benny!!

Summer Fun!!!

Happy 4th of July!! We went by the Porter's house for the 4th. We had a great time. John enjoyed playing with Gavin's toys.

John is getting so big. He is crawling forward now, especially to get the remote. He will be 8 months in a few days. He also sits up in his crib and tries to pull himself up. He has 4 teeth now. The top ones are BIG!! We were at the doctor on Friday and he weighs 22 lbs 9 ounces. He is our little fat man.

Update on Eric's Lip

Eric's lip looks awful, but he says it doesn't hurt. It is healing, but still swollen.
